ALLY SCHAMAUN
Ally started working in ceramics during undergrad as part of her studio arts major. She went on to study art therapy and counseling in grad school at Southwestern College. Since then, Ally has been enchanted and entrapped in Santa Fe life and finally made her way back to pottery over the last few years. Ally enjoys making lidded vessels or other multi-part forms, enjoying the challenge and satisfaction of everything fitting together just right.
When not playing and volunteering at Paseo Pottery, Ally works as an infant and early childhood mental health therapist with a focus on parent- child relational work and play therapy.
